The Clark County Republican Party’s endorsed candidate for Governor of Washington State, Semi Bird, has come under scrutiny recently due to a number of documents that have been unveiled during his tenure serving our country. An unfounded narrative of “stolen valor” has been the foundation of the allegations brought against him and has caused an unnecessary amount of time, effort and focus to address while he is busy campaigning to help fix our broken State.
CCRP Precinct Caucus Press Release
On Saturday, February 3rd, the Clark County Republican Party conducted their rescheduled precinct caucuses. Originally, the caucuses were supposed to be held on January 13th but because of the inclement weather, 10 of the 11 locations notified the party that they were going to have to cancel. In a quick pivot, the CCRP reserved the Clark County Fairgrounds Event Center for everyone to come to instead of 11 locations spread throughout the county.
CCRP Office Vandalized
On the morning of December 11th, it was discovered that the Clark County GOP HQ Office was vandalized. The unprovoked attack by a group that is calling themselves “Queer Liberation 161” sprayed obscene graffiti and glued propaganda fliers about Palestine across the windows, leaving a big mess for volunteers to come and clean up. Neighboring tenants said they had seen the vandalism the day prior, revealing that it had to have happened early Sunday morning or late Saturday night.

On Saturday, November 18th, the Central Committee for the Clark County Republican Party met for their quarterly meeting. The PCOs in attendance celebrated some successful wins from candidates that were endorsed by the party at the previous quarterly meeting which included two Battle Ground City Council races for Eric Overholser and Victoria Ferrer, Myrna Leija for La Center City Council and Gary Wilson for Evergreen School Board.
