Clark County Republican Central Committee ratifies Informed Consent Personal Rights Resolution
The Clark County (Washington State) Central Committee, at their third quarter meeting on September 9th 2023, voted to approve and endorsed a resolution that affirms a person’s right to informed consent. The resolution affirms that a person is only secure and undisturbed in their private affairs if allowed to voluntarily consent or refuse a medical intervention, product, or procedure, while in the absence of coercion.
The Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution protects the natural “right of the people to be secure in their persons,” and the Ninth and Fourteenth Amendments protect the fundamental right to bodily integrity, while Article 1 Section 7 of the Constitution of Washington State states that “No person shall be disturbed in his private affairs.”

During the first quarterly business meeting of the Clark County Republican Central Committee, held February 9, 2023 the following resolution of censure was passed, without objection, regarding the actions of Precinct Committee Officer, and former Vice Chair, Kathy McDonald.
Party discipline is a rare and serious event and the CCRCC does not entertain these matters lightly. It is the highest priority that Republican voters can trust party leadership to represent their interests and conduct business with transparency. Therefore, when a party officer acts in violation of CCRCC bylaws in such an egregious manner, the body will execute it’s duty to enforce the code of conduct.
