Statement
As a lifelong Clark County resident, I’ve devoted my life to public service, and I’m eager to strengthen our Home Rule Charter as your Charter Review Commissioner. I’ll advocate for Charter amendments to enhance transparency, accountability, and local control, ensuring our government serves every citizen. That is why I will propose an amendment that requires a two-thirds majority vote of the County Council to increase taxes or create new ones. I oppose tolls and lightrail, instead supporting practical transportation solutions that meet our diverse needs while protecting tax dollars. Most urgently, I’ll prioritize public safety, securing proper funding and support for law enforcement to protect our communities.
I will approach the issues we face in a non-partisan way. With a collaborative, inclusive approach, I’ll unite diverse perspectives to achieve the best outcomes for all Clark County residents. My extensive community involvement and professional experience equips me to lead thoughtfully, building on what works in our Charter while addressing the areas that need improvement. My commitment is to serve you, so please contact me with your input. I humbly ask for your vote so that I can continue my service on the Charter Review Commission.
