Donation InformationBefore my involvement with the CCRP, I held the misconception that expenses were automatically managed. I naively assumed that as one of the two major political parties, all financial matters were effortlessly taken care of. However, I have since come to realise that this is not the reality. During the current year, the party organised the Clark County caucus and convention. The Executive Board made the decision to offer free entry to the caucus to ensure that all Republicans in the county could participate. Additionally, a modest fee of $20 was set for attending the convention, aiming to make it accessible to all, regardless of financial constraints. Upon the completion of financial reporting, it was revealed that we incurred a deficit of -$3,494.33. Last year, the CCRP Executive Board opted to maintain the headquarters operational, providing a physical space for public visits and facilitating meetings for Legislative Districts, Committees, and the Executive Board, despite numerous political offices closing in 2023. The monthly expenditure to sustain the office and keep the lights on averages around $3000. I know that not everyone has the means to give in our current economy, but for those that can, please help support our efforts. |
