The CCRP legislative committee had it's initial meeting in December and received general agreement from the executive board on its course of action.

As the legislative session in Olympia gets under way on January 12, 2026, the committee will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 pm on the following dates to deliberate top issues that we think our community should advocate for and against.
Monday Jan. 12th
Monday Jan. 19th
Monday Jan. 26th
And as needed each Monday through February (the session ends March 12th)
We will also receive any reports from our local watchdogs at the county, city, and school district levels.

Please RSVP to the committee chair Bob Runnells () if you'll attend in person at HQ, or prefer meeting virtually, or can only meet virtually. With enough interest, we will set up a regular zoom meeting to increase participation.
