WAGOP Chairman’s Update

More Election Integrity, CD 3 Poll, and Voter ID Initiative Update

The Washington State Republican Party is pushing forward on election integrity initiatives, including gathering signatures for IL26-126 requiring proof of citizenship for voter registration, and is optimistic about flipping the Third Congressional District in 2026 with a Republican challenger.

This week, Washington's Secretary of State responds to last weeks video about missing Social Security numbers in voter rolls.  While they ignore the main issue (the missing social security numbers), their response is first time they have admitted the problems we are exposing.  Until now, they kept it  a secret...

DOJ Puts Washington State in the Crosshairs‍

The Department of Justice, under the direction of a presidential executive order, has notified Washington State that its sanctuary policies may violate federal law by hindering immigration enforcement, demanding a response by August 19th to outline how the state will rectify these policies.

Pete Serrano chosen as Eastern Washington’s U.S. Attorney

‍Previously CCRP endorsed AG candidate Pete Serrano chosen as Eastern Washington’s U.S. Attorney

As Interim United States Attorney, Mr. Serrano supervises the prosecution of all federal crimes and the litigation of all civil matters in the Eastern District of Washington in which the United States has an interest. He leads a staff of approximately 79 prosecutors, civil litigators, and support personnel across Eastern Washington. Press release here.
