DOJ Puts Washington State in the Crosshairs‍

The Department of Justice, under the direction of a presidential executive order, has notified Washington State that its sanctuary policies may violate federal law by hindering immigration enforcement, demanding a response by August 19th to outline how the state will rectify these policies.

As Interim United States Attorney, Mr. Serrano supervises the prosecution of all federal crimes and the litigation of all civil matters in the Eastern District of Washington in which the United States has an interest.
