WAGOP Lawsuit Disputing State Senate General Election Heard in Court‍

Evidence presented was that hundreds of ballots mailed, returned, and tallied in the race were returned by people who had previously contacted the USPS and filed change of address notices. According to the WAGOP, that list of about 600 voters were potentially ineligible to vote in the election, but somehow their ballots were cast and counted. Senate unanimously passes John Braun bill to reduce overcrowding in juvenile facilities‍

"The unanimous passage of this bill in the Senate shows that improving public safety and rehabilitating young offenders is not a partisan issue. We all want a system that protects staff, supports rehabilitation, and ensures that those who are truly dangerous are placed in the right environment. Senate Bill 5278 moves us in that direction." said Braun.

Legislation from Rep. Stephanie McClintock to enhance teenage work hours unanimously passes the House

If the bill becomes law, students will have to be enrolled in an approved career and technical education program and perform work approved by the program to work more hours. Current agency rules make it difficult for students to participate and work in those programs.
