Let's pack the C-TRAN Board meeting to voice our opposition. Funding Light Rail is proposed to be collected from the sales tax of EVERY single citizen in Clark County. County Councilor, Michelle Belkot, is on the C-TRAN Board and needs our help to make public comment and show up in mass.

Reykdal threatens School Board for voting to comply with federal law!

On March 4, 2025, Washington State Superintendent Chris Reykdal sent an offical warning letter to the Tumwater School Board threatening them for voting in favor of a WIAA policy change which would ban biological males from participating in girls sports. While the WIAA policy change is needed to bring Washington school districts into compliance with Title IX, Reykdal stated that the policy change would violate Washington state law – thereby risking the loss of state school funding. Clark County "Dismissed" Voter Challenges‍

State law RCW 29A.08.840 and RCW 29A.08.810(1)(c) specifically states what County Auditors must do upon receiving a challenge in the preliminary stage. However, instead of publicly posting the challenges, Greg Kimsey is formally “dismissing” them and has also chosen to ignore the law by avoiding public visibility and accountability into ongoing election integrity issues related to bloated and dirty voter rolls in Clark County. Lawmakers from 17th District to host virtual town hall Thursday, March 13

The state lawmakers serving Skamania County, Camas, Washougal, part of Vancouver, and parts of rural Clark County, including Battle Ground, Yacolt, and Hockinson, will hold a virtual town hall meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13.

Using the Zoom platform,Sen. Paul Harris and Reps.Kevin Waters andDavid Stuebe will give constituents an opportunity to learn more about the 2025 legislative session, which is scheduled to end on April 27.

In addition to reviewing some of the bills that have passed in the Senate and House of Representatives, and providing an update on their own legislation, the three 17th Legislative District lawmakers also plan to answer attendees' questions and address their concerns.
