The Clark County Republican Party headquarters office was vandalized.

On the morning of December 11th, it was discovered that the Clark County GOP HQ Office was vandalized. The unprovoked attack by a group that is calling themselves “Queer Liberation 161” sprayed obscene graffiti and glued propaganda fliers about Palestine across the windows, leaving a big mess for volunteers to come and clean up. ‍County schedules public forums on Community Needs Assessment

Vancouver, Wash. – Clark County Community Services has scheduled four public forums in January 2024 to discuss and get feedback on its low-income community needs survey conducted earlier this year. This feedback will be included in the final Community Needs Assessment report and will help determine spending decisions countywide.

‍County seeks applicants for Rural Event Center/Agri-tourism Task Force

At the direction of the Clark County Council, the Director of Community Development will lead the task force to explore possible code revisions in unincorporated Clark County. Issues to be contemplated include opening up current county code to allow property owners in R-5, R-10 and R-20 zones to engage in agri-tourism related activities not currently permitted.

County seeks applicants for climate project community advisory group

The deadline for applications is 5 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024.

Vancouver, Wash. – Interested Clark County residents are invited to apply for a position on the Clark County Climate Advisory Group (CAG). This group will support the county's efforts to implement new state climate change planning legislation, in which the county is now required to add a Climate Change Element to its Comprehensive Plan by June 30, 2025.
