The Clark County Washington Republicans gathered on March 16 for the Clark County Republican Convention, during which they elected 155 delegates to the Washington State convention, ratified the party Core Principles, and solidified the official Party Platform. The event, which took place at the Clark County Event Center, drew hundreds of attendees who were eager to engage in the democratic process and show their support for the party. WSRP Chairman Jim Walsh said it was the best organized County Convention he has been to throughout the state. The meeting was marked by the presence of several prominent candidates, including the endorsed candidate for Governor, Semi Bird, and endorsed candidate for U.S. House Washington District 3 candidate, Joe Kent. Former Senator Don Benton also took the stage to advocate for Donald Trump's presidential run in 2024, in his capacity as the Washington State Director of Trump for President 2024.
