The Washington State Republican Party’s (WSRP) Statement on Afghanistan
The Washington State Republican Party’s (WSRP) Chairman Caleb Heimlich has called for Governor Inslee to give asylum to our Afghan allies and others whose lives are now in jeopardy because of President Biden’s disastrous withdrawal of the U.S. military from Kabul. Read More.
Washington State Democrats Are Trying to Gerrymander Our State
The Washington State Republican Party (WSRP) released the following statement in response to the Washington State Redistricting Commission unveiling draft Legislative District maps:
“Democrats are trying to gerrymander our Legislative Districts and stop the voters from deciding elections. Republicans are working to give more voters a choice on election day,” said WSRP Chairman Caleb Heimlich. “The Democrat Commissioners’ draft redistricting maps are the definition of political hackery with the majority of seats drawn to be safe and keep Democrats in perpetual control. Voters deserve competitive districts, not gerrymandered franken-districts, and unlike the Washington State Democrats, we will not be retracting this statement.”
Washington State Republicans Endorse Tiffany Smiley for U.S. Senate
“This is an unprecedented action taken by the Washington State Republican Party, but Tiffany Smiley is an unprecedented candidate. We have a golden opportunity to change our state and country for the better by standing with Tiffany in her race to win this U.S. Senate seat,” said WSRP Chairman Caleb Heimlich. “In less than six months as a candidate Tiffany Smiley has shown her skills as a tireless champion for conservative ideals, a coalitions builder, and inspiring speaker at Republican events statewide. We are proud to endorse Tiffany, and we know with her skillset and passion, she will never stop fighting for Washingtonians.” Read more.
Mapped: Afghan Refugees Headed to 46 States
Washington State has accepted 1,679 new Afghan refugees. These Afghans are from the first group of thirty-seven thousand people. Half of the Afghans relocating to America helped the U.S. government or are a relative of someone who did. Thousands of other evacuees are waiting in U.S. military base shelters and third-world countries. Flights from these countries to the U.S. have been suspended due to measles cases. Read more.

STREAM & READ
Free to Stream: The Hornet's Nest
With unprecedented coverage, award-winning conflict Journalist Mike Boettcher, and his son, Carlos, tell the story of an elite group of U.S. troops sent on a dangerous mission deep inside one of Afghanistan’s most hostile valleys. What started as a single-day strike turned into nine harrowing days of combat against an invisible, vicious enemy. Go with these journalists and American troops where no foreign troops have ever gone before. Movieguide calls this documentary “gripping” and “emotionally riveting.” The reviewer writes, “In an age where a multitude of documentaries focus on war crimes and scandals that many times slanders the large majority of American troops who have ethics and integrity, it’s highly encouraging to see a movie that highlights real heroism.”
This documentary contains strong language and extreme violence. View discretion is advised. Not recommended for children.

SURVIVE & THRIVE
With the chaos and uncertainty thrust upon us by the madness and depravity of the radical leftist, it’s essential to prepare ahead of time for crises. We want to not only have what our families need to survive in difficult times, but we also want to be able to help others. Let’s all prepare to not only survive but thrive.
DIY Meals-Ready-To-Eat Buckets
Put together as many Meals-Ready-to-Eat (MRE) buckets as you want for your family with this simple, affordable plan. No dishes and no cooking required. In a one-gallon bag, you’ll have three meals plus snacks for one person for one day. The contents in each gallon bag will have at least 2400 calories and 100 grams of protein. Adjust for more or fewer calories or protein as desired by swapping out the items for something else. Just pay attention to the calorie count to make sure you’re meeting the need of each person. This plan focuses on affordable prepackaged foods that provide needed calories and are also high in protein. Adjust according to your own needs and taste. Get food that you know your family will eat!
Here’s what you’ll need to store and transport your homemade MRE’s:
- Gallon ziplock bags
- Ziplock sandwich bags
- 5 gallon food grade buckets
- Gamma Seal lids
For Breakfast
- 2 Kodiak oatmeal packets – 380 calories, 24 g protein. Yes, you can add water and eat from the packet.
For Lunch
Option 1 :
- Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice – 300 calories, 4 g protein. Get Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice with beans if you want more protein.
- Chicken Creations Buffalo Style – 160 calories, 20g protein OR
- Chicken Creations Classic BBQ – 90 calories, 11g protein
Option 2:
- Chef Boyardee Beef in Tomato & Meat Sauce Ravioli – 220 calories, 7g protein
For Dinner
- Hormel Compleats Turkey Entree 220 calories, 17g – 20g protein, One entree has potatoes, and one has dressing.
For Snacks
- 4 Sailor Boy Pilot Bread crackers – 180 calories
- 4 Tbsp (in a ziplock bag) PBfit All-Natural Organic Peanut Butter Powder – 140 calories, 16g protein
- 1 Quest Protein bar – 190 calories, 20g protein
- 1 Nature Valley Chewy XL Protein Granola Bar – 300 Comes in many flavors, 15g protein
- 1 Spam single – 230 calories, 9g protein
- 1 Applesauce pouch – 70 calories OR
- 1 Pudding cup – 100 calories
- Dried Fruit
- Jerky
- Electrolyte or other drink mixes in a small packet
- Multivitamin and other vitamins or supplements
Make sure to include a plastic fork, spoon, knife, and napkin in each bucket. It would also be a good idea to include a garbage bag in each bucket for collecting and disposing of all the packaging.
There will be some extra spaces in your buckets. You could fit more rice packets, pasta cups, etc., in those nooks and crannies.
It takes two 5 gallon buckets to store one week of MRE’s for one person. Store your buckets in a cool, dry place. Check your buckets at least once a year. Replace the food items as needed for freshness and quality.
